Beautiful Views from our Abbey View Touring Pitches

I just thought I would showcase how wonderful our Abbey View pitches are! Nestled just behind our Sea View pitches, the Abbey View pitches have lots to offer all our guests.
If you wanted to be closer to the amenities block, then no problem, our Abbey View pitches are perfect, as some of the pitches are located close by, making it easier for those guests who may have mobility issues and not been able to walk far. Are you coming on holiday as a family with small children? Then we have some Abbey View pitches located perfectly nearby the children’s play park, if you are wanting to be close by.
Our pitches are very spacious, having room for a touring caravan/motorhome, an awning and a car. There is plenty of space to sit out and relax in the warm air. These pitches are also great for those guests that travel with their friends, so that you can pitch up close by to each other.

As you can see the views from these pitches are perfect for looking out towards Whitby Abbey and also out over the North Yorkshire Moors. You can just imagine what it’s like to sit out and spend hours whiling away watching those views! Perfect!
Abbey View pitches overlooking the fields and footpath that leads to Robin Hoods Bay.
While you can arrive from 12 noon - to make the most of your first day with us, why not take the coastal footpath along to Whitby Abbey where you can explore the ruins, or take the 199 steps into Whitby town.
From some of our Abbey View pitches you can see the neighbouring fields and the footpath that is part of the Cleveland Way Walk that leads to Robin Hoods Bay.
Also from this part of the touring field you are closest to the access footpath down the cliff side to the beach at Saltwick Bay. So a day at the beach is just a stones throw away!
You can see some beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the pitches, so don’t forget to take your holiday snaps as a remembrance of your time here with us.
