The event takes place throughout Whitby, but you’ll find most of the pirates congregating down by the harbour. 2024 marks the 20th year of the festivals organisers, the Whitby Pirate Society and you can definitely be sure to expect a bigger and more extravagant celebration this year! The festival helps raise much needed funds for the RNLI.
