We’re delighted to introduce the ‘Hire to Buy’ Scheme at Whitby Holiday Park. This new initiative is designed to give prospective holiday home owners the chance to experience ownership, before committing to purchase. Book a stay in one of our eligible holiday homes to get a feel for the accommodation prior to purchasing the property. By the end of your holiday you’ll know whether your chosen holiday home is right for you, or whether you’d prefer a different type of holiday home or another location within the park.

Over the course of the holiday you can spend time getting to know the Whitby Holiday Park staff, experience the facilities and venture out into the local area. Our ‘Hire to Buy’ scheme will give you a brief insight into ownership and will help answer any questions you may have. It’s the perfect way to find out if the holiday home is right for you!

As an added bonus, if you decide to purchase the home at the end of your break, we’ll deduct the cost of your holiday from the total purchase price!

A selection of our holiday homes for sale are available for hire prior to purchase through the ‘Hire to Buy’ initiative. As part of this exciting new scheme, prospective home owners have the opportunity to experience life as an owner during a stay at Whitby Holiday Park.

If, at the end of your holiday, you decide to pursue holiday home ownership, you can purchase the holiday home you stayed in. The cost of your holiday will be deducted from the holiday home total.

Absolutely not! We’ve designed the ‘Hire to Buy’ scheme with prospective owners in mind. We want you to have the flexibility to explore holiday home ownership at your own pace, with no pressure and no hard sell. Enjoy your break and take your time to purchase with confidence. You do not have to commit to holiday home ownership, you could simply enjoy a relaxing holiday!

Yes, you will need to pay for the stay, as you would a traditional holiday at our holiday park in North Yorkshire. The only difference is that the holiday home is available to purchase at the end of your break, should you wish to pursue ownership at Whitby Holiday Park.
