In the town you’ll find a range of family-friendly attractions and activities, perfect for keeping the kids entertained during the May half term. Visit the historic abbey, tour one of the famous museums, spend a day at the beach or head out on a boat trip to soak up the scenery!

Whilst we might be biased, we think Whitby is one of the best seaside resorts to visit in May! The warm weather affords guests plenty of time for exploring the picturesque towns and villages on our doorstep and spending quality family time outdoors. The town also is quieter than the busy summer months.
