Whitby Holiday Park is situated on the Cleveland Way coastal footpath which is directly accessible from the Pod Village location. A short walk along the cliff top will take you to the historic landmark of Whitby Abbey and the 199 steps, leading to the town centre.

Glamping in Whitby

The first Pod Lodge to land at Whitby, The Sunrise Lookout sleeps up to 4 with a private double bedroom and 2 single bunk beds.

The open-plan accommodation benefits from a vast circular front window, allowing guests to enjoy the sea view at all times. The Pod Lodge is exceptionally well-heated and insulated, making it a cosy place to stay throughout the year. The hot tub is kept at a constant temperature for the complete indulgence of a dip in the bubbles after a day of exploring the local area.

The Sunrise Lookout is notably different to our other Glamping accommodation due to its living space, and has an eye-catching sleek, and beautiful design that blends into the location perfectly. It has a willow enclosure and dark skies-approved lighting, while the natural outlook of the landscape has enhanced with wildlife-friendly planting.

Beautifully Crafted Pod Interior

The generously sized outdoor decking is perfect to enjoy the North Yorkshire Coastal view and sea air. A dining table in the open-plan kitchen and lounge area enables guests to enjoy intimate meals, or the patio dining table can be used on warm days for those who like to hear the sound of the sea and smell the fresh salty air while they enjoy their meal.

With a smart television in the living area and a spacious integrated kitchen with microwave, 2 hobs and large fridge with freezer compartment, this open-plan space provides all the conveniences a family would need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Crisp cotton bedding on the freshly made beds makes the pod feel luxurious from the moment you arrive, with the promise of a good night’s sleep.

There is also a large internal wet room with contemporary fittings to maximise the comfort and efficiency enjoyed by guests. No, there is no extra charge for water or electric usage in any of our glamping accommodation

No, Whitby Holiday Park provides bed linen in all of our glamping accommodation. Please ensure the correct number of guests is noted on the booking.

We provide one bath towel and one hand towel per person in the pod lodge. However, if you think you may need more for the hot tub, we recommend bringing extras.

A new model of our popular Preseli models, the Saltwick Escape is located in a quiet area of our park, leading to the Cleveland Way path that takes you to Whitby Abbey and further on to the town centre. The perfect choice for a small family or couple looking for a break away. This glamping pod has all the features of an escape away from the norm, with a private hot tub, spacious open plan layout, and scenic location. The main living area hosts the double bed and sofa bed as well as the kitchenette with two burner hob, microwave, air fryer and mini fridge.

Take in the stunning sea view that you can enjoy either from the comfortable seating in the living area or on the decking from your private hot tub.
