The annual event takes place in the pretty parkland grounds of Scampston Hall and attracts locals and visitors from across North Yorkshire. The festival gets bigger and better every year and boasts a varied programme of demonstrations and exhibitions. There’s so much to see and do you won’t know where to begin!
Trade stands
Browse more than 100 trade stands where you’ll find homeware, gifts, crafts and country clothing. You’ll find plenty of food and drink options for a tasty lunch and can sample produce from local farms. There’s also a refreshment tent with a lively atmosphere!
The show ring will play host to a number of exciting events throughout the day with many opportunities to participate. Watch livestock, how jumping, heavy horses and even a gun dog display!
Vehicle displays
If you’re into engines you won’t be disappointed – there will be a range of vintage tractors on display. You’ll also find modern farm machinery, classic cars and the bikes from the Yorkshire Coast British Motor Cycle Club. Kids will love the Thomas the Tank Engine train rides.
Children’s activities
There are plenty of activities for younger members of the family, including paintball, axe throwing, archery and fairground rides. There will be a host of inflatable play equipment and even a climbing wall!
