Our timber children’s playground is one of the most popular facilities at Whitby Holiday Park. Children can channel their inner buccaneers when they play on our nautical-themed children’s playground. At the heart of our distinctive timber children's playground stands a grand wooden lighthouse.
The children’s playground offers a wide selection of different play features including a spacious sandpit, complete with a water play channel, mud table, building site, and pump. There are also swings, timber playhouses with decked verandas and slides, a rocking sailing boat, climbing ropes, a cradle nest, climbing ropes and a stainless steel slide.
Older children can play on the 'Whirlwind and Ropes Area’, which features many different climbing ropes and structures.

Ensuring a secure environment, our children’s playground is enclosed and strategically positioned next to the touring field, allowing easy access to all guests staying at different points on our Whitby Holiday Park. There are a handful of benches surrounding the playground, where parents can unwind whilst supervising their children's play.
Whitby Holiday Park is committed to providing a safe environment for families to enjoy their holidays. We carry out regular equipment checks and have set up plenty of safety matting and wood fiber cushion fall flooring around the playground to prevent any minor injuries.
